HATBORO, PA — A Hatboro woman was attacked Tuesday afternoon by a stranger who tried to pull her out of her car in front of her home, according to police.
In a news release, Hatboro Police Chief James Gardner said the attack happened early Tuesday afternoon in the first block of Belmar Road. The 19-year-old woman told police she left her home at 12:07 p.m. and got into her vehicle parked on the street.
As she did, an older, black Dodge Ram pickup truck with large black tires, running boards and a yellow sticker on the rear bumper drove up and stopped. The woman said that something in the bed of the truck appeared to be covered by a blue tarp.
