Hatboro's Sheedy resigns from Borough Council
The first-term councilman says lack of time to properly commit as reason for resignation.

Hatboro Borough Council member Mark Sheedy won’t be completing his first term in office.
The councilman submitted his resignation on March 24. It won’t be official until the council votes to accept it. According to published reports, Sheedy’s reason for resigning is a lack of time to fully commit to the position.
The next scheduled voting meeting is on April 27. If council approves Sheedy’s resignation, it will have 30 days to appoint someone to take his place.
