Why go: Horsham Spirit Medium Karen Hluchan will be providing spirit readings and angel readings.
Cost: $20 for a 15-minute reading; $40 for a 30-minute reading

PRIZE-WINNING PIANIST PERFORMS
Where/when: Hatboro Baptist Church, 32 N. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
Why go: Prize-winning Russian pianist Timur Mustakimov will perform as part of the church's first installment of its four-part monthly spring concert series, which continues the first Saturday of the month through May.

VARIETY SHOW
Where/when: 
Hatboro-Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road, Horsham, Thursday at 7 p.m. 
Why go: Proceeds benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation 
Cost: $8 at the door; $5 in advance

READING GOES TO THE DOGS
Where/when: 
The Union Library of Hatboro, 243 S. York Road in Hatboro, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Why go: Kids can get library cards, make crafts and read to special therapy dogs (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) as part of Take Your Child to the Library Day.
Cost: Free

SPAGHETTI FOR NEEDY FAMILIES
Where/when: 
Lehman United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday at 4 p.m. 
Why go: The church will be providing a spaghetti dinner and dessert for needy area families. Children's activities will also be available. 
Cost: Free

LADIES NIGHT BINGO
Where/when: 
Central Bucks West Cafeteria, 375 W. Court Street, Doylestown, Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Why go: Proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County
Cost: 20 games for $25 in advance; $30 at the door
