Horror Movie Filmed At Historical Horsham Location

HORSHAM, PA -- A horror movie filmed locally has been released on DVD.

The independent movie Apparition (IMDB) was filmed in the Horsham area, with about 85% of the film being set at the Penrose Strawbridge House in June 2013, according to the Horsham Preservation and Historical Association.

Apparition was formerly titled as Remorse, and was premiered at the Colonial Theater in Doylestown in June, 2015.

The crew spent about 3 weeks in the Horsham area filming mostly at the Penrose-Strawbridge House, but also on Mann Road and at Village Hardware in Hatboro, the Historical Association said.

The film is about a Philadelphia architect and his fiancee who buy a house in the suburbs, before things go downhill.
