Residents along those roads are asked to park their cars in driveways during the work and to keep children and pets away from the road because of the extreme heat of materials. Residents using those roadways are encouraged to allow extra time and to not drive on blacktop or crack sealer material to avoid damage.

Already this season, Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant ramps have been built in Horsham on Jefferson Avenue, Columbia Avenue, Girard Avenue, Broadway Avenue and Meetinghouse Road.
