Horsham Playgrounds, Ball Courts Closing For Coronavirus
The closures were announced by the township on Monday and take effect on Tuesday, March 17.
HORSHAM, PA — Add Horsham Township's playgrounds, dog park, and other outdoor recreation areas to the list of closures due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus.'
Starting Tuesday, all Horsham playgrounds, basketball courts and volleyball courts, as well as the hockey court and dog park, will be closed until further notice, the township announced Monday.
The moves comes in an effort "to encourage recommended social distancing and to protect the well-being of the general public during the COVID-19 situation," officials said.

At least for now, township parks will remain open and visitors will be able to access trails and open spaces there, officials said.
