Horsham Roadway Named After Local War Hero

Easton Road between Maple Avenue and Meetinghouse Road named after Joseph C. Park II.

A local roadway has officially been named after a Horsham war hero according to Montgomery Media.

The report states that part of Easton Road between Maple Avenue and Meetinghouse Road is officially named after Joseph C. Park II, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War in 1968 when he was 21-years-old.

According to the report, State Representative Todd Stephens spearheaded legislation last year to rename the street. Park grew up in Horsham and graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School.
