When did you go into business?

“My current business, Healing Spirit with Love, officially opened September 1, 2012. It became an LLC in June 2013.”

How did you come up with the name?

“When thinking about the name for my company, I wanted it to capture the essence of what I truly provide. Healing the spirits or souls of those on earth is what I do through the messages and guidance I receive from the Other Side, as well as through my writing, workshops, and Reiki energy healing.

The gift of mediumship I was born with works through the most powerful energy in the universe - love. All of the work I perform is powered by love and strengthened with the mission of bringing healing, understanding, and knowledge to all I meet.”

Why start a business here?

“I love Pennsylvania, especially Horsham, PA. I was born and raised in Horsham, and I continue to enjoy the people, the location, and the benefits of living in a town filled with heartfelt people who are engaged in the community in which they live.”

Briefly, what business are you in?

“My business practice, Healing Spirit with Love, is a spiritually-based business that focuses on bringing healing, understanding, and knowledge about our existence on earth, as well as our continuing existence beyond our lifetimes here.

For people all across the United States, I provide spirit medium readings in which I communicate with loved ones on the Other Side for messages and guidance, as well as angel readings in which I communicate with heavenly support teams regarding specific guidance about a person’s life.

The readings are delivered either in person, over the phone or via Skype, depending on the location of the person or people booking the readings.

In addition, I teach workshops, present motivational and entrepreneurial speeches, and provide Reiki energy healing sessions.

I am the author of my Healing Spirit with Love blog, as well as my book, How Have You Loved?, published December 10, 2013.

As a note, I am currently working on my next book that I hope to publish within the next twelve months.”

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

“It takes hard work, drive, dedication, integrity, business expertise, and support to truly get a successful business up and running.

The early years are the most challenging because you are trying to introduce, establish, and grow your business while keeping your head above water financially.

Finding a healthy balance between work and play is very important. It is one of the largest challenges I have faced.

While it is important to work hard, it is equally important to take time out to rest and rejuvenate. It is a challenge that I work on each day with positive results.

I continue to go the extra mile for my clients while also ensuring that I do the same for me when it comes to taking care of my needs.

The relationships in my life also play a significant role in the day-to-day operations of my business. The love and support that I receive from my family, friends, associates, and clients have made a tremendous difference in the success of Healing Spirit with Love.

I am grateful every day for each and every person that has lent me their loving support, whether through referrals, appointments, believing in me, or sharing their love.”

What’s been your favorite moment/proudest achievement since opening?

I am very blessed because each day provides amazing opportunities and experiences that touch my soul, whether it is seeing the healing transformation that occurs when people connect with their loved ones in spirit or the incredible way in which messages come through from the Other Side. Because of the complexity of communicating across dimensions, I am constantly amazed at the uniqueness and level of detail that loved ones in spirit bring through using all of my senses. The images, sounds, feelings, tastes, and smells I experience during a reading recreate the personality and likeness of the person or animal coming through. They also express what they did for a living, how old they were when they passed, how they passed, hobbies, unique behaviors, their relationship with the reading recipient, and more. Relevant memories from the past, such as favorite foods or the location of where they were raised, are shared throughout the reading, as well as guidance for the future. The information that comes through is often only known by the recipient of the reading or their family members. One of my favorite communications came from a father coming through for his daughter. He was indicating to me through words and images that he was aware his daughter would be traveling soon to Africa. He even showed me an image of a painting of Africa which I described in detail to the daughter. He also indicated that he would be traveling with his daughter on her trip. The daughter admitted that she was leaving for a trip the next day; however, she mentioned she was heading to Italy, not Africa. When a link to information cannot be immediately established, I instruct people to write the information down because there is a very important reason why loved ones in spirit go through the effort of sharing this information. As it turns out, it was important and very relevant. When the daughter arrived home from her trip, she emailed me to tell me that she understood what her dad was communicating. When she was checking out of her hotel in Rome, she looked to the right and noticed the very painting that I described in her reading. Then she realized she did travel to Africa, because the hotel she was checking out of was called Capo d’Africa. What an incredible moment that must have been for her as she realized her dad really was traveling with her on her trip.

How does your business give back/get involved in the community?

“Everything I do is focused on wellbeing and a sense of community. There are many ways in which I give back to the community, as well as get involved with the people and events in my hometown and surrounding areas. Horsham is my hometown, and I love getting involved in the community and supporting local businesses. I am a member of the Horsham Chamber of Commerce, and I have participated in Horsham Day as a vendor for the past three years. For Horsham Day 2015, I offered a free presentation and two free mediumship demonstrations in which I shared messages from loved ones in spirit. When I published my first book, How Have You Loved?, I donated a copy to the Horsham Township Library and hosted my very first book signings there. The Intelligencer joined in on the excitement and published an article about me and my book. The Horsham Patch was very supportive of my endeavors. Not only did the editor write and publish an article about me and my work, but also suggested that I repost my inspirational blog on the Patch. To this day, I post articles and events on the Horsham Patch, as well as ten additional community Patch sites. In an effort to bring business to Horsham, I host a special Evening with Spirit at the Days Inn in Horsham each month. I have also actively participated in several community meetings for the redevelopment of the former Willow Grove Naval Air Base. As a way of supporting local businesses, I network extensively with area entrepreneurs who participate in Network Now, Bucks Connect, Professional Women’s Business Network, Women of Willow Grove, Women’s Business Forum, and more.

There are various ways in which I give back to the community. For instance, I participate in charitable events in which I help to raise funds for people in need, as well as for non-profit organizations that provide a variety of services for those in need. I have provided free or low cost presentations, readings, grief counselling, or copies of my book for individuals and groups at the Being One Center in Warminster, Circle of Miracles in Chalfont, Your Earth Angel in Phoenixville, and more. The balance of giving and receiving is one of the precepts that I teach. Giving back is one of the ways I show my gratitude for the wonderful support I have received. At my public events, I provide opportunities for people to win free spirit medium readings with me or free signed hardcover editions of my book, How Have You Loved?”
