Horsham Woman Sentenced For Endangering Children, Driving Under Influence of Multiple Drugs
Jennifer L. Hawkins, 33, allegedly was under the influence when she rear-ended car while driving with her two young children

A Horsham woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving under the influence of multiple drugs and endangering children, according to The Intelligencer.
The reports says, Jennifer L. Hawkins, 33, of the 100 block of Easton Road received a sentence of time served, which was three days, to six months for her alleged role in a car accident last June in Jenkintown.
According to the report, Hawkins’ vehicle, with her two young children in the rear passenger seat, rear-ended another car, and investigating officers found packets of heroin and 16 unused and used syringes inside Hawkins’ purse. The children were not injured. Lab results later determined Hawkins was driving under the influence.

In addition to the jail time, Hawkins reportedly received five years of probation, must attend parenting classes, perform 60 hours of community service, and pay a $1,000 fine, as part of her probation.
