'Hungry Hideaway' In Hatboro To Continue Through Summer
The outdoor dining area was so popular its first two weekends that officials have extended it through September.
HATBORO, PA — Hatboro's Hungry Hideaway, an outdoor dining space set up on Williams Lane, was so popular during its two-weekend run that officials are extending it through the end of summer.
Open Thursday through Sunday, the outdoor space has been set up to let diners enjoy takeout meals from downtown Hatboro restaurants while social distancing due to the coronavirus.
It was created to help local businesses during Pennsylvania's coronavirus response, which has limited the number of people who may be seated in restaurant dining rooms. The dining area is filled with picnic tables and Williams Lane is closed to traffic from York Road to the rear entrance of Bernie's.
