Lehman Memorial UMC makes plans for Ash Wednesday
Like most things, the beginning of Lent will be different because of COVID restrictions.

Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church shared its plans for the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday, February 17.
Lehman will offer a prerecorded video service for all to experience that will feature a choir, scripture reading, a sermon, and other elements of a traditional service. Pastor Andy Krpata is encouraging everyone to watch the service before coming to church to receive ashes. He and associate pastor Nancy Ludwig will impose ashes on visitors' hands or foreheads. This will be a drive-through imposition of ashes from noon to 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and visitors are asked to make sure everyone in the vehicle is wearing a mask.
If the forecast calls for inclement weather, Krpata said necessary changes will be made and announced on the church's website and Facebook page.
