Michael A. Iatesta Sr. passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at his home in Hatboro.

He was born Dec. 8, 1920 to Phillip and Maria Iatesta on a New Hope farm in Bucks County. He often spoke of his childhood years in the family's pre-revolutionary farmhouse, and he enjoyed visiting his old haunts until the very last years of life. Being the youngest of seven children, and almost four years shy of 100 years of age, he had a multitude of stories about the struggles of running a small farm, and the antics and happy times spent with his siblings.
