Man Receives Probation After Admitting to Stealing From Hatboro Vehicles

Robert Rivera, 18, of Philadelphia also has to pay restitution for thefts

A Philadelphia man received a three year-probation sentence, and must pay restitution after he admitted to stealing from vehicles in the county, including in Hatboro, according to The Intelligencer.

The report states that Robert Rivera, 18, pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday in Montgomery County Court.

Rivera and 22-year-old Miguel Santiago are accused of driving through county municipalities, including Lower Moreland and Upper Moreland, to steal items from vehicles in August of last year. A Lower Moreland police officer reportedly searched Rivera’s car and found the alleged stolen items in the trunk on Aug. 30.
