New Horsham Wawa Opens Thursday
The store will open Thursday morning with a social-distanced ribbon cutting.
HORSHAM, PA — Wawa will open its new store on Welsh Road in Horsham on Thursday. The store will be located at 132 Welsh Road.
The new store will open to the public at 8 a.m. with an official ribbon cutting outside of the store. During the event, associates will be socially distanced, standing 6 feet apart.
The store will employ approximately 40 associates.

The company will mark the opening by showcasing its community support and customer enthusiasm through a virtual slideshow of photos shared on social media on opening day, including the following highlights:

- Wawa expressing support of everyday heroes with the store team donating “Hoagies for Heroes,” lunch to the USO, with a check presentation of $1,000 to support military service members stay connected to their families and country
- Wawa acknowledging the Horsham Police Department with “Hoagies for Heroes,” donated lunch and $1,000 contribution to their charity of choice.
- First-ever social distancing ribbon cutting with store associates standing 6 feet apart in front of the new store to signify the official start of serving the community.
