Poetry, Open Mic Night Set In Hatboro

The evening will feature a reading from Allan Heller, Hatboro's poet laureate.

HATBORO, PA — A night of poetry, including a chance for you to share your own, has been scheduled in Hatboro.

Poetry and Open Mic Night is set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Union Library in Hatboro. The library is located at 243 S. York Rd.

The evening will feature a reading from Allan Heller, Hatboro's poet laureate.

Heller's work has appeared in Mobius, Writer's Digest, Mad Poets Review, Brevities, Hatboro Highlights and The Midwest Trend. He also has written five non-fiction books and a collection of short stories.

After the reading, a number of Heller's books will be available for purchase. An open mic also will follow his reading.

The event is part of Union Library's Adult Speaker Series. Sessions are always free.
