Residents Speak Out Against Proposed Land Development

Horsham residents spoke out against a plan to develop the corner of Blair Mill Road and Route 611, according to The Intelligencer.

At a meeting Monday night, New Road residents communicated they were upset about the proposed plan that is expected to include a pharmacy, a Super Wawa, and a four-story hotel, on the property.

According to the report, residents were concerned about their property values decreasing and the potential dangers of increased traffic at the location. The property is currently home to the former Intelligencer building and a banquet and event center.

The report states that the residents plan on fighting the plan.
