Roads Closed Due To Flooding In Horsham Area
The roads were closed Thursday afternoon, after record rainfall, with more on the way, in the Philadelphia region.
HORSHAM, PA — Flooding was reported on multiple roadways, with some closures, as heavy rains poured in eastern Montgomery County on Thursday.
Keith Valley Road was closed between County Line and Davis Grove roads at 3:49 p.m., according to Horsham Police.
The intersection of Dresher and Horsham roads also was under water and being closed as of about 2:30 p.m., police said. They also reported that traffic lights had gone to flash at Blair Mill and Easton roads, where there had been reports of flooding in the area.

Blair Mill Road at Home Road was closed in both directions as of 4:03 p.m. and Watson Road between Broadway and Jefferson was closed at 3:54 p.m.
The storms that rolled through the region on Thursday were the latest round in what's been a soggy week.

A month's worth of rain fell in just a matter of hours Thursday in Philadelphia, where residents across the region are grappling with days worth of storms and flooding.
Philadelphia received more than four inches of rain over a three-hour span early Thursday, forecasters with the NWS in Mount Holly said. That's more than the normal rainfall for the entire month of June, which is 3.43 inches.
The region was again under a flash flood warning from the National Weather Service until 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Wednesday's heavy rains caused travel issues around the region, and the weather caused a roof collapse at a Montgomery County Acme store. The roof at the Flourtown Acme collapsed in the early morning hours Thursday. It could have been due to a lightning strike, CBS Philly reported.
