Several Roads In Horsham Closed Due To Flooding
As Tropical Storm Isaias makes its way through the region, Horsham Township officials are reporting several road closures in the area.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA—As Tropical Storm Isaias makes its way through the region, Horsham Township officials are reporting several road closures in the area due to flooding.
As of 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, those road closures include:
- Keith Valley Road is closed between Davis Grove Road and County Line Road
- Welsh Road: Between 309 and Lower State Road (PennDOT is on site)
- Lower State Road and Limekiln Pike - Between both intersections (PennDOT notified)
- Lower State Road and Highgate Drive to Lower State and Landis Drive
- McKean Road and Goldfinch Lane to McKean Road and Limekiln Pike
- Davis Grove Road: Babylon Road to Willowbrook Road
- Limekiln Pike and Balmoral Way to Limekiln Pike and McKean Road
- Broadway Avenue: Between Watson Avenue and Moreland Avenue (Tree in wires - PECO notified)
- Limekiln Pike and Tennis Avenue to Tennis & Talamore Drive
"Whether driving or walking, any time you come to a flooded road - TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN! Never attempt to drive around barriers blocking a flooded road!" Horsham Township officials reminded residents via Facebook.

If you come to an area that is covered with water, you won't know the depth of the water or the condition of the ground under the water. According to the National Weather Service, even just one foot of water can move most cars off the road. Just six inches of fast-moving flood water can sweep a person off his or her feet.
