On Monday, snow blanketed the Hatboro-Horsham area, with forecasters saying yet another half-foot of snow may be on the way.

HORSHAM, PA — Schools and government buildings were closed in Hatboro and Horsham on Monday, as local officials responded after the first day of a winter storm blanketed the region with snow.
Meanwhile, authorities were urging residents to stay off of roadways that had become slick with ice. Horsham Police were asking residents to stay home.
"Our public works and contractors have been working since 1 p.m. yesterday and probably won’t be going home until Tuesday night," police said in a social media post Monday. "We also ask for your patience as this storm is significant in length and amounts. Once the snow finally stops, it will take another eight hours to give the town the final clean up."
