Yard House Restaurant Opens In Willow Grove

WILLOW GROVE, PA — Diners and beer lovers in the Hatboro-Horsham area now have a new option to try.

Yard House, which describes itself as a modern American bar and restaurant, opened its doors in Willow Grove at 2 p.m. on Monday.

Located at Willow Grove Park Mall, the 11,160-square-foot restaurant will accommodate more than 315 guests both indoors and outdoors. And it's literally built around its expansive bar, which features 110 taps, including local beers such as McAllister’s Shovel Buddy IPA, Crooked Eye’s White Tail Ale and Free Will’s The Kragle IPA.

To keep all that beer cold, the Yard House in Willow Grove has a glass-enclosed keg room that houses 3,000 gallons of beer at 36-38 degrees. The beer, the company says, is delivered to the center-island bar through more than two miles of individual beer lines that stretch overhead.

The menu features more than 100 items, including the Poke nachos, Nashville hot chicken, parmesan crusted pork loin and ginger-crusted salmon. There are gluten-sensitive, vegan and vegetarian options available.

House music is "hand-picked and unique playlists" and the restaurant's walls are covered with original artwork.

The restaurant also will participate in the company's Yard House Harvest program, through which surplus food that wasn't served in the restaurant will be donated to local food banks.

The restaurant will employ about 200 people, company officials said.
