BRISTOL, PA — Two lanes on Interstate 95 South in Bucks County will be closed during the evening and overnight hours next week for road construction.

The double lane closure will be Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. between the Rt. 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges in Bristol and Bensalem, PennDOT announced.

PennDOT said the lane closures will be for line striping and pavement marker installation in the areas.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling in the work area because backups and delays are expected. All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.

The work is part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships. The entire project is expected to be completed this fall.
