2 Lanes To Close On I-95, I-295 In Bucks Co.
The work later this month is part of a $29.5 million construction project to fix up the interstates in Lower Bucks.
BRISTOL, PA — Two lanes on Interstate 295 and Interstate 95 in Bucks County will be closed in the evenings and overnight later this month for roadwork going on in the area.
The closures will be on westbound I-295 and southbound I-95 between the Rt. 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges. They'll run 7 p.m.-5 a.m. from Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26.
The lanes will be closed for asphalt milling that's part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of interstates in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, PennDOT said on Thursday.

The $29.5 million project involves milling, overlaying and fixing existing pavement, performing base repairs, installing new guard rails repairing or replacing traffic signs, performing minor bridge deck repairs and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95/I-295 corridor in Bucks County.
Drivers using the highways are advised to allow extra time in the work area because backups and delays are expected to occur. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
