3 Falls Twp. Roadways To Be Fixed Up
Supervisors in Falls approved their 2019 roads program, which calls for reworking the three roadways.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Supervisors in Falls have approved improvements on three roadways within the township.
Last week, the board voted unanimously to advertise for bids on its 2019 road program. The three roadways to receive "full-depth road reconstruction" under the program are Rice Drive, Fletcher Drive and Lions Drive.
The project is expected to be awarded to a contractor later this year.

In other business, supervisors moved forward on plans to resurface basketball courts at Falls Township Community Park. Originally planned as a capital project for 2018, bad weather postponed the project until this year.
Filling in cracks and resealing the asphalt will give the courts more longevity, according to Parks and Recreation Director Brian Andrews. The park improvements are planned for the last week in August and are expected to take one to two days to complete, Andrews said.
