300 Ounces Of Bucks Co. Mom's Breast Milk Lost In Mail: Report
It was packaged in dry ice, and her husband paid more than $120 to overnight it so she could feed her 7-month-old, the report said.

A military mom who recently moved to Bucks County lost 300 ounces of breast milk she intended to feed her 7-month-old after the package shipped by her husband got lost in the mail, according to a report by Action News.
Lauren Carroll recently moved to Yardley from North Carolina. She and her husband are both in the U.S. Army. She was recently called up to active duty from the reserves and had to move to Pennsylvania, Action News reported. Her husband is stationed in Fort Bragg.
Once Carroll and her son were settled in Yardley, she had her husband ship the 300 ounces of breast milk. The report says he packaged it in a cooler with dry ice, told representatives at the United States Post Office what it was, and paid more than $120 to overnight it with insurance. But the package never showed up.

Carroll told the network several days later she finally received this explanation: the package was damaged and sent to the mail recovery center and ultimately disposed of by the carrier.
Since then, people have stepped in to help and donate breast milk, a follow up report from the network said.
