Bucks County Community College continues to stay current with our everchanging environment and has moved all of our FREE* Industrial Skills Training Programs to a hybrid format. Students are now attending class online as well as going into the classroom for in-person instruction. Students have welcomed this change as it has given them the hands-on training needed to enter into lucrative manufacturing career paths upon graduation while managing their lives during these unprecedented times.

Students have taken advantage of learning a new craft, being introduced to new employers and are discovering the different career pathways available upon graduating from the Metalwork and Industrial Maintenance Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programs. Bucks residents have been fortunate that Manufacturing is considered an essential business and manufacturers are busier than ever! Additionally, the County of Bucks has afforded students the opportunity to attend these courses free of charge.

Topics, taught by industry experts, include measurement tools and systems, blueprint reading, safety, hand tools, manual machines, CNC machining, welding, and shop math.
