Big Oak Rd. Bridge Over I-295 Re-Opens
The bridge in Middletown had been closed for repairs since late September.
MIDDLETOWN, PA — The Big Oak Road bridge over Interstate 295 has been reopened, PennDOT announced Monday.
That patch of road had been closed since late September for repair work on the bridge, which was built in 1967.
PennDOT contractors added concrete to the bridge deck, repaired its concrete substructure, replaced and resealed bridge deck joints, installed scour rock protection and milled and paved the roadway.
