Check out what's happening today in Levittown.

The Oxford Valley Mall will open its doors at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, offering customers 26 hours of extended Black Friday shopping. For Black Friday, Oxford Valley has partnered with Philadelphia mommy blogger, Linda Vertlieb of FrugalPhillyMom.com, to host multiple "Hide and Tweet" giveaways from 8-10 p.m. On November 28, Linda will tweet clues to her following of more than 6,000 fans leading to her location in the mall using hashtag #BlackFridayOVM. The first shopper to find Vertlieb will win a free Santa Photo Package. Additionally, Vertlieb will be giving away Black Friday Survival Kits, which include essentials, such as refreshments and coupons, to the first 100 people to find her as part of the "Hide and Tweet" giveaways.

  • This should not come as a real shock to anybody who regularly watches NBC's The Voice, but Lower Makefield's Matthew Schuler has advanced once again on the singing competition. He will compete with the rest of the top 8 next Monday on NBC.
  • Bristol Township's annual holiday parade is this Saturday at noon, rain or shine. The parade starts at James Buchanan Elementary School on Haines Rd. and ends at Benjamin Franklin Middle School on Millcreek Rd. • The Falls Township Parks & Recreation department invites children and families to a breakfast with Santa Claus on Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Falls Senior Center, 282 Trenton Rd. The free event includes pancakes, hot chocolate and pictures with the big guy.
  • Sunny again today, with highs near 48 degrees, going down to 28 tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
