BRISTOL, PA — A rye whiskey brewed in Bristol is expanding its territory, going on sale in four new states — including the whiskey hotbed of Tennessee.
Dad's Hat PA Rye Whiskey will now be distributed in Florida, Oklahoma and Massachussetts, as well as in Nashville, Memphis and Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mountain Laurel Spirits announced.
That expands the local whiskey's market to a total of 21 states.

Owners Herman Mihalich and John Cooper said they are particularly excited about entering the Tennessee market.
"We love the music scene in Tennessee, and after our collaboration last year with the Punch Brothers where we sold an exclusive single barrel selected by the band, we're excited to introduce our PA rye whiskey to these new markets," said Mihalich. "We look forward to building on our relationships in the music business."
