Bristol Outdoor Movie Postponed Due To Heat
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature of 100 degrees Saturday in Bristol.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A free, outdoor movie scheduled for Saturday in Bristol Township has been postponed due to the heat wave gripping the area.
A screening of "Dumbo" had been set for Saturday evening at Croydon Acres Park. But, on Thursday, township officials announced that the screening is postponed due to an excessive heat advisory.
The rescheduled date, time and location will be announced later, officials said.

The movie was to be part of the 2019 Bristol Township Outdoor Movie Series. Future screenings are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24, at Municipal Complex Park, and Friday, Sept. 13, at Historic Bolton Mansion.
Currently, the National Weather Service forecast for Bristol calls for a high temperature of 100 degrees on Saturday.
