Bristol School Cleared Over Bomb Threat

The threat was found in a bathroom stall shortly before school was set to be dismissed Monday afternoon.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bristol Township middle school was cleared and after-school activities canceled Monday after a bomb threat was discovered there.

Officials at Armstrong Middle School, at 475 Wistar Rd. in Fairless Hills, said the bomb threat was discovered at about 2:20 p.m. in a bathroom stall. Students were immediately evacuated from the building and police were contacted, officials said.

Because the school day at Armstrong ends at 2:45 p.m., students were dismissed directly to their buses from the evacuation site.
