Bucks Co. Business Group Hosting Online Seminars With Google

SCORE Bucks County is hosting the "Growing With Google" online series starting next month, as well as other sessions.

A Bucks County business-mentoring group will be offering a series of online seminars aimed at helping up-and-coming entrepreneurs and others.

SCORE Bucks County, in conjunction with Grow With Google, plans a free four-part series beginning March 4. Also in March, SCORE will offer a "How To Start a Nonprofit" seminar.

The Google sessions will be led by speaker Randi Penfil, who has more than 20 years of experience helping small businesses and nonprofits improve their digital marketing. The hour-long sessions begin March 4 and continue through May 12.

The first seminar, "Reach Customers Online With Google, will be at 10:30 a.m. on March 4. It will highlight how to improve your website's visibility in Google's search results as well as how to use free Google tools and create a Google My Business profile.

The next online seminar, "Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps" will be at 1 p.m. on March 24. It will help attendees create or claim a business profile on Google, manage their business information on Google search and Google Maps and to learn others tricks and tips.

"Using YouTube to Grow Your Business" will be held at 9:30 a.m. on April 13. It will highlight practices including why businesses should have a YouTube channel, how to set up a channel and what information should be filled out when uploading a video.

The final seminar in the series will be "Make Better Business Decisions With Analytics," will be at noon on May 12. It is focused on identifying business goals and incorporating data into your plans, with a focus on Google Analytics.

Also in March, SCORE will host an online seminar, "How To Start a Nonprofit," with certified mentor Joseph Lutes. It will be from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on March 9.

On March 23, SCORE mentor Don Goeltz, an associate professor at Holy Family University, will aim to help would-be entrepreneurs during the session, "Is Your Great Idea Really a Great Business?"
