Bucks Co. St. Patrick's Day Parade Canceled

Coronavirus concerns had increased, with the first cases in Bucks County being reported late Tuesday.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parade, which had been scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled.

"The committee has decided to cancel all parade events being held on March 14th, 2020," organizers wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday night. "Please know that this was a hard decision to make but we felt that in the best interest of the community it needed to be done."

Concerns about the new coronavirus had already lead organizers of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Philadelphia — the second oldest in the nation — to cancel.
