Bullying Workshop Set In Langhorne

The workshop will include a conversation on what constitutes bullying, how to recognize it and ways to stand up to bullying.

LANGHORNE, PA — A workshop for parents and students on how to deal with bullying has been set for this month in Langhorne.

"Beyond Sticks and Stones: Understanding and Preventing Bullying" will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at The Peace Center. The center is at 102 West Maple Ave. in Langhorne.

The workshop will include a conversation on what constitutes bullying, how to recognize it and ways to stand up to bullying. Parents and students will meet separately to come up with ways to respond to bullying.

The Peace Center has been working on community peace and social justice issues since 1982. The nonprofit's programs are designed to help reduce violence and conflict in schools, homes and communities through a multi-cultural, community-based approach.
