Bucks Co. Breweries Make Christmas Brews: See What's On Tap
Breweries in Bucks County have crafted special wintertime and holiday brews for you to enjoy as 2020 comes to an end.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Let's be honest — plenty of folks are probably ready to tip back a cold beverage and bid 2020 adieu. Fortunately, beer lovers in Bucks County have plenty of new, seasonal and local options to enjoy while doing just that.
The county's 20 (and counting) breweries have worked up new winter releases or rolled out old seasonal favorites along the Bucks County Ale Trail. Those interested in getting a passport that could let them earn a free t-shirt by checking off at least five breweries can do so by clicking here.
You'll need to check ahead right now, of course, to see what kind of setup each brewery has established if you hope to have a beer on the premises. But they all have websites and almost all are offering pickup, curb service and online orders.

We all know most businesses have had a rough go of it this year. So, if you're going to be picking up beer to see you through the holidays, why not seek out a locally owned and operated brewery to support while you're doing it?

Broken Goblet Brewing, Bensalem
A specialized holiday four-pack features the brand new Fritz’s Sticky Bun Stout, as well as all three of their Wasteland Warriors: Candy Cane, Blueberry Maple French Toast and Sugar Cookie. You can order them online for the holidays.
Bucks County Brewery, Pipersville
Bucks County Brewery has released three versions of their Oatmeal Stout. You can start with the Wood Ape Oatmeal, which is slightly roasted. For the next round, try Wood Ape’s Brunch blended with Homestead Coffee Roaster’s coffee and hazelnut. And you can finish sweet with the vanilla and cinnamon flavors in their Wood Ape Monster Cookie.
Free Will Brewing Company, Perkasie and Peddler's Village
Peel & Petal lets you unwind with soothing chamomile, orange and coriander. Crisp and delicate with floral spiced aromas, it is the perfect brew to help you relax through the holidays.
Geronimo Brewing, Doylestown
With the B-52 Bomber, they took their B.U.F.F. Stout recipe and added lactose to create this big, rich and powerful, yet smooth, stout. A heaping of chocolate and coffee malt creates a deep, rich flavor.
Great Barn Farm to Glass Tap Room, New Hope
Tractor Juice Milk Stout (6.4 percent ABV) is now available in four-packs. Tractor Juice doesn’t apologize for beating up your tongue with dark chocolate, caramel, and coffee flavors.
Iron Hill Brewery, Newtown
The Pig Iron Porter is the classic darkness and fullness you love, mixed with chocolate notes at 6.2 percennt.
Mad Princes Brewing Co., Doylestown
Snow Eater was crafted to showcase the best Pennsylvania hops and is available to ensure you have no shame picking one up.
Moss Mill Brewing Co., Huntingdon Valley
It doesn’t get any more indulgent than the Raspberry Mocha Latte Stout. It's brewed with lactose, raspberries, cocoa nibs, coffee and vanilla beans.
Naked Brewing Co., Huntingdon Valley and Bristol
Enjoy the notes of fresh cut holiday pine boughs, juicy, freshly peeled clementines and delightfully sticky resinous Concolor fir sap in Krampus Cat (6.6 percent ABV). The addition of flaked oats gives a fluffy, soft mouth feel.
Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co., Croydon and New Hope
Their Mudbank Milkstout is brewed with chocolately flavors and coconut cream.
Newtown Brewing Co., Newtown
You Merely Adopted the Dark, I Was Born In It had a very appropriate release on Black Friday. The 10.1% chocolate peanut butter Russian Imperial Stout is said to be as dark as the city of Gotham.
Odd Logic Brewing Company, Bristol
