Chuck's BBQ Closes In Bristol

The Texas-style barbecue restaurant's owners will keep the location as they shift to food truck events and catering.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Chuck's BBQ in Bristol has closed its doors to diners, as the owners shift their focus to food truck events and catering.

The Texas-style barbecue joint made the announcement Wednesday on Facebook.

"With this change, it will give Chuck’s BBQ the opportunity to shift our energy to events and catering, allowing us to better serve our customers," the post read. "We are looking forward to all the positive changes and improvements that are to come."

Chuck's opened last year at 2 Pond St. in Bristol. On Facebook, the restaurant's owners called the change "a new, positive direction" for Chuck's.

"Thank you so much to everyone for all your love and support," the post read. "We especially want to thank our Bristol family and friends, as we will always be here supporting the town of Bristol and the wonderful community."

To celebrate their new phase, Chuck's will be opening the restaurant's doors to the public one more time on Friday, Sept. 6, for a First Friday celebration. They plan to keep their location as a base of operations.
