Downed Trees, Power Lines Reported In Middletown Township
"Our officers are out there doing their best to respond to each location," the Middletown Township Police Department said.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA—Numerous fallen trees in the area due to heavy winds have resulted in downed power lines, property damage and scattered power outages, the Middletown Township Police Department reported Tuesday.
"Our officers are out there doing their best to respond to each location and have our DPW or PennDOT clear the downed trees as much as possible," the department informed residents in a Facebook post. "We are also notifying PECO of all downed wires and power outages. Please be patient as we deal with all of these weather related calls."
According to police, if you see a weather-related issue, call the non-emergency line at 215-949-1000 if it can wait. If its an emergency, call 911. Officers are warning residents to be careful driving as certain roads in Middletown can flood easily and become impassible quickly.

As Tropical Storm Isaias makes its way through the region, a tornado watch remains in effect for Bucks County until 4 p.m. Tuesday, the National Weather Service reports.
The main threat of tornadoes will be during the daytime hours, forecasters said. As far as the winds go, residents can expect winds of 35-45 mph, with gusts between 60 mph and 70 mph. High winds are in the forecast through late Tuesday afternoon.
