Drive-In Concerts Coming To Oxford Valley Mall
Two concerts are scheduled, with plans for "national acts" in the works for later, organizers said.
LANGHORNE, PA — A pair of drive-in concerts have been scheduled at Oxford Valley Mall, with plans for "national acts" to come later, according to organizers.
The concerts, at which attendees would watch and listen from their cars, are set for Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8, in the mall's parking lot.
Philly-based cover band Split Decision will play on Friday, with country act Shot of Southern Band set to take the stage on Saturday.

"I can't think of a better way to not only give people a genuine live concert experience, but to give back to the community," said Kyle Kelly, president of Mid Atlantic Event Group, which is organizing the concerts. "The greater Philadelphia area has been through a lot in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and it's time they get out and enjoy themselves for a safe evening — to get out of the house, to get away from their troubles, and to remember what it was like to enjoy a live concert experience."
The shows will be in the old Boscov's parking lot. There also will be food trucks and other surprises, organizers said. The shows will begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are available online.
