Falls Road-Improvement Program Set To Start Next Month
See which roads are scheduled to be improved this year under a $1.6 million contract.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Falls Township's board of supervisors this week set into motion this year's road repair program.
Supervisors on Tuesday voted to award a $1.6 million bid to General Asphalt Paving Co., Inc. That amount was well under what supervisors had budgeted for the roadwork, said township engineer Joe Jones.

- Full-depth reconstruction of Rice Drive, Fletcher Drive and Lions Drive
- Mill and overlay improvements on Elbow Lane between Stony Hill Road and the township line
Jones said he expects work to begin by mid-October.
Each year, Falls Township designates roads for its road improvement program. Year to year, the township can undertake more or fewer road upgrades depending on the budget, supervisors Chairman Bob Harvie said.
