Typically, supervisors appoint volunteers to various boards and commissions during the first meeting of the year. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the inability of boards to meet in person, Dence suggested postponing appointments.
"We will be coming back to that once we start having the regular meetings again," Dence said. "We will be getting to that soon, hopefully."
Despite the challenges, Dence said Falls adapted "pretty well" to the pandemic.
"It was a tough year," he said of 2020. "Hopefully 2021 is a lot better."
The return of in-person meetings is something Rocco said he looks forward to in 2021. Falls supervisors have not yet determined when that will be possible.
For 2021, supervisors are planning several projects, including the continuation of the annual road program and the reconstruction of Willow Drive. The township also will be doing intersection improvementsat North Olds Boulevard and Trenton Road and will finish adaptive traffic signal upgrades at Lincoln Highway, Tyburn Road and West Trenton Road.
