Family Service Thanks Sponsors of Homeless Shelter Benefit
Virtual Event Kickoff To Be Held on April 8 on Zoom and Facebook Live

Langhorne, Pa. (March 29, 2021) – The past year has seen most of us struggle under the weight of safety and social distance requirements required during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, for those dealing with homelessness and the agencies and organizations who have taken on the task of helping them, this burden is exponentially greater.
The Family Service Emergency Homeless Shelter has seen both its waiting list and its expenses grow during this pandemic. For that reason, they are so grateful for the generous sponsors who have stepped up to support the Shelter’s annual fundraiser which will kick off virtually on Thursday, April 8th.
The top sponsor for this event is the Impact Sponsor, QRS (Linda and Cliff Davis) followed Penn Community Bank as the Building Sponsor and Johnson & Johnson as the Health & Social Work Services Sponsor.

These sponsorships will allow the Family Service Emergency Homeless Shelter to continue to provide support and services to the individuals and families that call it a temporary home. At any given time, there are 80 to 90 residents, at least a third of whom are children under the age of 18.
The services provided by Family Service to their residents include health screenings and referrals, counseling, case management, job training and resources, transportation to interviews, appointments and employment, and more as Family Service staff works with each resident toward the goal of permanent housing.
The Family Service Virtual Homeless Shelter Benefit will kick off on Zoom and Facebook Live on Thursday, April 8th at 6pm. This benefit will continue for two weeks with all proceeds going to the Family Service Shelter. To RSVP for the kickoff, please visit fsabc.org/benefit.
