Free Langhorne Event To Introduce Kids To STEM
Activities are based on two themes that combine elements of science, technology, engineering and math and foster learning through play.

LANGHORNE, PA — A free, upcoming event in Langhorne has been designed to introduce children of all ages to a love for science, technology, engineering and math.
STEM Adventures is set for Saturday, Jan. 26, beginning at 10 a.m. It is hosted by Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care, at 670 Woodbourne Rd., Building 2, in Langhorne.
The event promises fun, educational and age-appropriate activities for kids at the indoor event. Activities are based on two themes that combine elements of science, technology, engineering and math and foster learning through play.

The themes are:
- Out Of This World: Making moon sand, creating craters, lunar volcanoes, using force to move rockets, making mini-constellations and shooting stars, communicating in space and mission control.
- Fun With Machines: Vibrobot scribble machine, marble run, wheel and axle construction, cardboard tube derby and pulley and levers.
