Funeral Service For Rt. 1 Hit-And-Run Victim Set

LEVITTOWN, PA — Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday for the woman killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday on Rt. 1 in Bucks County.

Alexandra Rachel Ridgway, 29, of Levittown, was killed when police say multiple vehicles struck her on the highway near Neshaminy High School shortly before 3:30 a.m.

Police in Middletown Township continue to investigate the crash, in which they say none of the drivers stopped.

According to her obituary, family and friends are invited to a visitation from 8:50-9:50 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, at 66 Levittown Pkwy. in Levittown. That will be followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m.

Ridgway was born in Huntingdon Valley to the late John A.D. Ridgway and Michelle T. Ridgway. She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 2009 and earned her certified nursing assistant degree from Brookdale Community College in New Jersey.

She spent most of her career as a home health care worker.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her brother Michael (Julie), her sister, Victoria, and her grandmothers, Margaret Ridgway and Rose Egan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her family has launched a fundraiser on the website GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.
