'Glee' Star Joins Bristol Theater Show
Bristol Riverside Theatre's Broadway Summer Spectacular will be performed digitally starting next week.
BRISTOL, PA — An actor from the popular show "Glee" is joining the cast of Bristol Riverside Theatre's final summer show.
Telly Leung, who played Dalton Academy Warblers member Wes, will perform in the final installment of the theater's Summer Music Fest, which has gone digital this year due to coronavirus concerns.
While Broadway, itself, remains dark, the theater is leaning on Broadway favorites for its Broadway Summer Spectacular, which will be presented on Sept. 2, 4 and 6.

Other cast members will include local favorites Keith Spencer and Jessica Wagner, who recently toured with "The Phantom of the Opera," and Broadway actor Derrick Cobey.
"We heard raves about the first concert. One patron called me in the middle of it to tell me that she was unexpectedly crying because she hadn’t realized how much she missed theater," said Amy Kaissar, co-producing director of the theater. "What we’ve heard more than anything is how surprised folks were that it really felt like we were all together watching a concert and how much it reminded them of everything they love about BRT."
