'He Helped Save My Life': Levittown Hero
This Levittown resident was the "Superman of nurses" to a patient who spent 51 days in the hospital with COVID-19. Presented by Ring.

LEVITTOWN, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Rico Rodriguez, who nominated Joe Gentile of Levittown. Gentile cared for Rodriguez when he was at St. Mary Medical Center for 51 days being treated for the coronavirus — 37 of those days on a ventilator.

Reason for recognition: Joe is dedicated to his profession, compassionate and caring. He prayed with me and really comforted me emotionally through the most difficult time of my life. He went above and beyond to help me recover from this deadly virus and I am forever grateful.
One thing to know: That Joe is the Superman of nurses. He goes above and beyond his responsibilities and is one of the most caring and genuine people I’ve ever met
