Historic Fallsington Day 2019 Is Oct. 12
Crafters, entertainers and demonstrators will celebrate the area's history, dating back to the 1700's and beyond.

FALLSINGTON, PA — A trip back through the history of Bucks County is coming up for folks in the fall-festival spirit.
Historic Fallsington Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 12. The day of programs and activities runs from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on the streets of Fallsington and on Meetinghouse Square.
Crafters, demonstrations, live entertainment and other activities are scheduled for the day, which will look at life in the area dating back to the 1700's and beyond.

Roadways will be closed for the event. Parking will be at Fallsington Elementary School.
Some of the Fallsington Day demonstrations include a dance performance by Rising Turtle, descendants of the Delaware Indian Nation. The group will share the culture and traditions of the indigenous people of the area, the great Lenni Lenape.

Tuckers' Tales Puppett Theatre will be presenting a Punch and Judy show and the Give and Take Jugglers will travel around the fair performing. Folk singer and story teller Richard McLaughlin will take the state, the Heritage Dancers will perform colonial-era numbers and A Quaker Presence will provide hands-on Colonial children's games and quill pen writing demonstrations.
There will be period-inspired demonstrations of paper making, cooking and spinning as well.
There will be horse-drawn village hay rides, pony rides, a book sale, a bake sale and all museum buildings will be open.
There will be a drawing for the Fallsington Quilt on Meetinghouse Square. Visitors may view the one-of-a-kind quilt throughout the day and raffle tickets will be available right up to the time of the drawing.
Also that day, Fallsington Library, the Fallsington United Methodist Church, All Saints Episcopal Church and Fallsington Elementary School's PTO will be hosting related activities.
