I-295, I-95 Lanes To Close For Roadwork In Bucks Co.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Westbound lanes on Interstate 295 and southbound lanes on Interestate 95 will be closed next week for concrete patching work, PennDOT has announced.

The closures will be single-lane and double-lane and will be between the Rt. 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road Interchanges.

A double-lane closure will be in place nightly from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, through Sunday, Aug. 25. Single-lane closures will be in place each day from 5 a.m.-7 p.m.

Drivers are urged to allow extra time when traveling on the highways in the work area because backups and delays are expected.

The work is part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.
