Intersection Lanes To Close In Falls, Morrisville, LMT

The closures will be for crews to install ADA-compliant curb ramps at the intersections.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Periodic lane closures are scheduled at several intersections in Falls Township, Morrisville and Lower Makefield next week as crews work to install new ramps.

The closures will be from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The work is part of a project to install 73 Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at 18 intersections in Bucks County, according to PennDOT.

The intersections where there will be lane closures next week are:

  • Mirror Lake Road and Yardley Langhorne Road in Lower Makefield Township
  • Big Oak Road and Trenton Avenue in Falls Township
  • Trenton Avenue and Plaza Boulevard in Falls Township
  • Pennsylvania Avenue and Union Street in Morrisville Borough
  • Stony Hill Road and Cardinal Drive in Lower Makefield Township

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns are expected to occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather, PennDOT said.
