Kitchen Fire Sends 1 Bristol Resident To Hospital

The fire department was dispatched Wednesday night to respond to a Treaty Street house fire.

BRISTOL, PA — One person was injured in a house fire on Treaty Street in Bristol Wednesday night. The fire began on the stovetop and was contained to the home's kitchen, authorities said.

The Bristol Fire Company responded just after 10:30 p.m., finding that a resident of the home had been able to use two fire extinguishers against the blaze.

A resident with a burned hand was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment.
