Levittown Businesses Can Get Free Reopening Signs

The township is trying to help businesses that may have been closed for months amid the coronavirus outbreak.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Businesses in Langhorne and the rest of Middletown Township can get free reopening signs to help welcome back customers.

The signs are being provided by the Middletown Township Economic Reopening Task Force.

The window signs, yard signs and floor decals can be picked up at one of three locations:

  • Middletown Township Municipal Center. 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.)
  • Inspire Federal Credit Union. 1555 E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Robin Kemmerer Associates, Inc. 1 Deep Dale Dr., Levittown (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Weekend times available, please call ahead at 215-949-0810)

The "Middletown Safe" sign package includes a yard sign saying "Open for Business" andfloor decals to direct customers, as well as camera-ready sign designs that can be printed out.

"When the task force was thinking of how we can best provide direct relief to local businesses, this idea made complete sense," said Middletown Township Board of Supervisors Chairman Mike Ksiazek. "A small business that has been closed for three months can't as easily afford signage, which has become a critical need for any business."

The township also has updated its website to include resources for businesses operating during the coronavirus pandemic. The resources include links to several business loan and grant programs, links to reopening guidelines by industry in the yellow and green phases and digital links to the sign packages.
