Levittown Man Dead In Fairless Hills Car Crash
A 79-year-old man died after veering into the shoulder and striking a parked car on Trenton Road Thursday morning.
LEVITTOWN, PA — A 79-year old Levittown man died Thursday morning after hitting another car parked on the shoulder, the Falls Township Police Department said.
Police responded to reports of the crash at 8:55 a.m. Thursday. According to those reports, Charles Cocchiaro had been driving a Jaguar on the 400 block of Trenton Road when he veered onto the shoulder and struck the back of a Nissan parked there.
The Nissan's occupant was transported to Jefferson Buck's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Cocchiaro was found unresponsive, according to Chief Nelson Whitney, and lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
Whitney thanked the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, the Fairless Hills Fire Company, and the Falls Township Fire Marshal’s office for their assistance.
